Description
Day & Night Use
The Thermion Duo DXP55 removes the need for alternating scopes, allowing users to switch seamlessly between thermal imaging and day optics at the touch of a button, elongating the hunt well after darkness falls. An extremely sensitive 640×480, 17µm, <25mK NETD European-made thermal sensor is complimented by a powerful 50mm f1.0 objective lens to offer a detection range of up to 1800m, and an integrated high definition 3840×2160 4K CMOS sensor achieves stunning day optics with accurate colour rendering.
Enhanced Night-Time Observation
The thermal sensor in this device will deliver incredible levels of thermal detail regardless of environmental conditions, working effectively in adverse weather such as heavy rain, dense fog, and snow, or in instances where thermal contrast is low. In these conditions, the Thermion Duo DXP55 is still more than capable of identifying a target and their anatomical features, along with minute details of their surroundings. This large sensor enables a wide 12.4×9.3° field of view, offering a comfortable and more informative experience when observing both static and dynamic scenes.
Incredibly Detailed Daytime Observation
The Thermion Duo DXP55’s day optics can be found in the housing located above the device’s objective lens, seamlessly integrated within a low-profile extrusion to retain the classic daytime riflescope aesthetics a hunter is used to. The 3840×2160 4K CMOS sensor will provide a crystal clear daytime image at a range of up to 1800m, enhancing the user’s identification capabilities and allowing them to make informed decisions out in the field. Pulsar’s advanced image processing algorithms and smoothing filter will ensure picture detail remains high-quality to reduce eye strain and fatigue during long periods of observation.
HD AMOLED Display
All images are presented in outstanding detail onto a 1024×768 HD AMOLED display for a consistently crisp and clearly detailed thermal and daytime picture. A 29.5° wide-angle eyepiece and the wide viewing angle of this display will ensure comfortable image perception.
Outstanding Clarity
Pulsar’s advanced image processing algorithms allow this riflescope to reach new levels of image detail, with impeccable clarity and contrast. Using a wide range of halftones in the thermal imaging channel enables accurate rendering of complex scenes with evenly-emitting low-contrast object — such as the sky, grass, or the surface of a body of water. These algorithms will enhance the detail and sharpen objects at varying distances, rendering a highly informative thermal image for greater observation opportunities in the field. Manual adjustment of the thermal imaging sensor’s sensitivity allows a hunter to improve the detection capabilities when environmental conditions change. Pulsar’s smoothing filter and brightness and contrast settings will ensure prolonged observation remains comfortable and free from fatigue.
Four Observation Modes
The Thermion Duo DXP55 features four observation modes: digital image mode, for use during daytime hunting; thermal imaging mode, for use in night-time conditions; auxiliary mode, for use in challenging daytime conditions that affect detection capabilities — such as dense fog, heavy cloud cover, rain, oncoming or sidelong sunlight, tall grass, shrubbery, or trees; and combined multispectral viewing mode by way of the Picture-in-Picture function, allowing hunters to simultaneously display a thermal and daytime image on the same screen (this mode allows for prioritisation of either channel).
One Shot Freeze Zeroing
The Thermion Duo DXP55 makes zeroing effortless with one shot zeroing, which takes a photo of a target after the ranging shot has been fired, automatically setting the thermal imaging and digital day optics channel reticles at the point of impact. Zeroing can be achieved using the base magnification (2.0-16.0x thermal, 4.0-32.0x digital) or the zoom.
Five Shooting Profiles & Fifty Zeroing Distances
Zeroing settings can be stored in up to five shooting profiles that can be set up for several types of rifles or cartridges. Each of these zeroing profiles can then store up to ten zeroing distances, with a total of fifty possible zeroing distances available.
Ten Customisable Reticles & Nine Colour Modes
Features an electronically displayed reticle in the same plane as the target, with ten reticle configurations and functions (available direct shot type, ballistic, scalable and regular) in nine colour modes for a fully customisable observation experience.
Retains Classic Riflescope Aesthetics
Based on solutions and components found within Pulsar’s flagship Thermion 2 XP50 Pro thermal imaging riflescope, the Thermion Duo DXP55 features a seamlessly integrated day optics housing located on top of the riflescope that contains a full-colour 4K optical channel for high definition daytime observation.
This housing remains low-profile, allowing this new multispectral riflescope to retain the familiar aesthetics of a classic daytime riflescope, mounting using 30mm scope rings and ensuring it never looks out of place on a rifle.
Quick & Easy Ambidextrous Focusing
Ambidextrous focusing knobs found to either side of the Thermion Duo DXP55’s day optics housing have been added to ensure quick and easy focusing whilst remaining comfortable to operate. Fin levers can be found on these focusing knobs, allowing hunters to quickly and easily make micro adjustments whilst out in the field, without ever taking their attention away from their observed field of view.
Up to 6 Hours of Power
Using a dual battery system, the Thermion Duo DXP55’s two batteries — one internal and one removable and rechargeable — offer effective power for up to 6 hours (depending on temperature), allowing users to continue their hunt well into the night. The replaceable battery is incredibly easy to remove, allowing for fast battery replacement, even in total darkness.
Dual-Band Wi-Fi
The Thermion Duo DXP55’s built-in Wi-Fi module offers dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) to vastly improve device bandwidth and connection stability, as well as providing a faster rate of data transfer and noise immunity – all for a more reliable and consistent operation between the riflescope and a smartphone or tablet connected to Stream Vision 2.
Built-In Still Image & Video Recorder
The Thermion Duo DXP55 features a built-in still image and video recorder with audio, meaning hunters can relive all of their favourite moments, storing any images or videos captured on the device straight to its internal storage.
8 Colour Palettes
For more effective observation capabilities over the Thermion Duo DXP55’s field of view, a choice of 8 colour palettes optimises the riflescope for specific tasks, reacting to changing conditions in the observation area and ensuring observation is unimpeded.
White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are the perfect choice for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine are great for recognition and identification; and Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are ideal for night-time observation.
Operating Temperatures from -25 to +50 °C
The Thermion Duo DXP55 remains operational in a wide variety of temperatures, from -25 to +50 °C, with the frost-free AMOLED display providing a consistently stunning image, even when objects are moving.
IPX7 Waterproof
Its IPX7 waterproof rating ensures this multispectral thermal imaging riflescope remains operational in heavy rain, fog, high humidity, snow, and even after immersion in water at a depth of 1m for up to 30 minutes.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Taking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK.
Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.
Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.
Failure to comply is a criminal offence.
